This is a fluorescent substrate sensitive to elastase and trypsin, Abs/Em=501/527nm. Colorless, non-fluorescent (Z-Ala-Arg) 2Rh110 is hydrolyzed into highly fluorescent rhodamine 110, which has excellent spectral characteristics and matches the best detection window of most fluorescent instruments. After cleavage, Abs(max) is at 497nm, Em(max): at 527nm.
