Product Name Histone H4 (1-7), N-Terminal
Purity HPLC>95%
Description This is a 1 to 7 amino acid fragment of histone H3. Changes in chromatin structure, such as nucleosome sliding, removal of nucleosomes, and destruction of DNA-histone or histone-histone contacts through histone post-translational modification, have been related to transcriptional regulation, DNA damage repair and Cellular processes such as replication are linked. The modification of histones mainly occurs in the N-terminal residue or the tail region. These modifications include phosphorylation, ubiquitination, methylation, sumolyation and acetylation. Lys5 may be the acetylation site of this peptide.
Storage -20°C
