MBP MAPK Substrate

Home/Catalog peptide/MBP MAPK Substrate
MBP MAPK SubstrateAdmin2021-01-15T07:02:16+00:00
Product Name MBP MAPK Substrate
Purity HPLC>95%
Description The sequence aprtpgrr contains a natural sequence derived from amino acids 95-98 of bovine myelin basic protein (PRTP). The rest of the sequence is not derived from the local sequence, but a synthetic structure. This substrate is specific to MAP kinases: p44MAPK [extracellular signal-regulated kinase 1 (ERK1)] and p42MAPK (ERK2). It contains the consensus sequence Pro-X-(Ser/Thr)-Pro recognized by MAP kinase. This peptide is the most effective substrate for ERK phosphorylation. The substrate is phosphorylated by the kinase on threonine 97 and can also be phosphorylated by MAPK p38.
Storage -20°C
