Transdermal is a cell penetrating peptide (CPP), also known as protein transduction domain (PTD), and its first 16 amino acids come from the third helix of the antennal homology domain. Transdermal linked to phosphodiester oligonucleotides can penetrate neuronal cell membranes and down-regulate genes.
