This is a CCK mimic. It retains all the biological activities of CCK8, but it is found to be very stable in acidic media and is not affected by air oxidation due to Met displacement. The dominant conformation contains a gamma turn centered on Thr4, separated from the helical segment containing the c-terminal residue by Gly5
