Crosstide is a peptide analog of glycogen synthase kinase-3 (GSK-3), which acts as a natural substrate for Akt/PKB. It has similar specificities for PKBα, PKBβ and PKBγ subtypes. At the same time, it was also identified by MAPKAP kinase-1 and p70S6K. The fluorescent peptide and the biotin transfer peptide have similar enzymatic activities.
