Product Name HIV Protease FRET Substrate I
Purity HPLC>95%
Description In some literature, DABCYL-GABA-Ser-Gln-Asn-Tyr-Pro-Ile-Val-Gln-EDANS is also referred to as HIV protease substrate I. It is widely used for continuous detection of HIV protease activity. The 11kd protease (PR) encoded by human immunodeficiency virus 1 (HIV-1) is essential for the correct processing of viral polyproteins and the maturation of infectious viruses. Therefore, it is a selective acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) treatment plan design The goal. The FRET-based fluorescent substrate is derived from the natural processing site of HIV-1 PR. Incubation of recombinant HIV-1 PR with a fluorinated substrate can lead to specific cleavage at the Tyr-Pro bond and a time-dependent increase in fluorescence intensity, which is linearly related to the degree of substrate hydrolysis. In FRET analysis, the fluorescence quantum yield of HIV-1pr substrate increased by 40.0 times and 34.4 times, respectively. Due to its simplicity and accuracy in determining the reaction rate required for kinetic analysis, this substrate has many advantages over conventional HPLC or electrophoresis analysis of retroviral PRs hydrolyzed peptide substrates. Absolute value/Em=340nm/490nm.
Storage -20°C
